Biryani
Biryani is one of the most famous dishes in south
Asia it is combination of fried rice with meat and with some spices and tastes
absolutely delicious.
Let me tell you the history of biryani where is the
origin of this masterpiece dish which ignites your taste birds so according to
the sources it originates from India and it was first made in Mughal era and
some historian claimed that biryani was discovered before Mughal era and
unpopular opinion of a group of people claim that biryani roots were in Persia
but besides the difference between historian the popular and more reliable
claim is that Mughals cooks founded this tasty dish. As we all know that Mughals
are fond of food and they love to eat and try new food so I personally agree
with the statement that Mughals originated this marvelous and delicious
combination of fried rice and meat.
Now if we are talking about the types of biryani
there are different types of biryani namely Aloo Biryani, Chicken Biryani,
Meat, and Beef Biryani and now Fish Biryani is also available in market and
food lovers are crazy to eat it.
In Pakistan biryani gain the royal place among food
items and dishes because on every function like marriage ceremony or at funeral
or event biryani is mandatory. Biryani in Pakistan is famous and profitable as
well in Karachi Nali Biryani is quite famous, Hyderabad Biryani, Delhi Biryani,
Deghki Biryani are popular, In Lahore Hussaini is famous in all over Pakistan
and people are getting huge profits by selling it. In my opinion biryani proves
its worth by both in taste and in term of business item.
Prime ingredients are Rice, meat, oil, ghee,
tomatoes, spices and in different location people use different vegetables.
Some like chicken biryani so they add chicken instead of beef so it is very
friendly and easy to cook kind of food.
How
to cook Biryani:
There are two ways of cooking biryani.
· In first way rice are cooked in a
separate pot and same for the meat it will be cook in a different pot with
different spices and other ingredients and if people want some vegetable they
also be cooked separately and in the end all of these ingredients will be
combined and will be heated on low flame for a small period of time. In this
way first of all we put a layer of rice and then we cover it with cooked meat
and vegetables, than second layer of rice and then cover it with cooked meat
and repeat this process until the ingredients are finished, than cover the pot
and put it on low flame for 15, to 20 minutes afterwards your biryani is ready.

Second way is put small amount of oil on
the bottom of pot than layers of soaked rice in pot than marinated meat,
spices, veggies if required and then rice and will repeat this process till
finish and then we cover the pot and put some wait on the top of pot and lit a
low flame beneath the pot and it takes about an hour to prepare biryani in this
method biryani is cooked by steam. After a hour break this delicious and
heavenly dish will be watering your mouth.
